Nobody should feel alone on Valentine’s Day. That’s why Serve the City Amsterdam came up with a volunteering activity especially for singles.
Singles can sign up for a volunteering date to gift vulnerable Amsterdammers an unforgettable Valentine’s activity together with other single volunteers. For example, the volunteers will surprise mentally disabled people with a cocktail and karaoke night. While volunteering, single volunteers have enough time to chat and get to know each other better.
“More and more singles find it important that their future partner is social and actively involved in the community. Volunteering offers a great opportunity to meet new, like-minded people and to date in a casual setting.” explains Brigitte Vonck-Makkinje, founder and director of Serve the City Amsterdam.
The different Date & Volunteer activities take place on Valentine’s Day (Tuesday, 14th February 2023) in between 17:30 – 20:30.
Singles can easily register through the Serve the City website. On Friday, 10th February, they will get informed if there were some nice matches found for them and if they are selected to join one of the volunteering activities.
