About the activity
Join us for this special Christmas theatre walk through the Houthavens and Spaarndammerbuurt! With lights and lanterns, people of all ages will walk together through the neighbourhood and experience the Christmas story in a unique and festive way.
We start at Onze Amsterdamse School in the Houthavenpark with a short theatrical performance. From there, we continue with a walk through the area, meeting various characters from the Christmas story along the way. We will end the evening with soup and bread at neighbourhood church Hebron.
For this event, we are looking for volunteers who enjoy assisting participants in wheelchairs during the walk. You will help make this Christmas experience accessible and welcoming for everyone.
Do I need to physically be in the Netherlands to be able to join in?
Yes! Only people who are physically present in the Netherlands are able to volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can offer no assistance with obtaining visas to come to the country.
