About the Kom Buurten action week
From 8 to 15 November, Amsterdam will be all about Kom Buurten, a week full of enjoyable and meaningful volunteer activities across the city. Together with Burennetwerk, Markant and the Volunteer Center Amsterdam, we organize dozens of small and large projects that make it easy for you to join in.
About the activity
Loosen up those hips, it’s time for a fun dance class with seniors. If you love music and enjoy spending time with older people, join this cheerful activity at Vondelstede, a care facility in a beautiful location near Vondelpark. Want to dance along? For this project you need to be able to speak basic Dutch.
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.
