About the Kom Buurten action week
From 8 to 15 November, Amsterdam will be all about Kom Buurten, a week full of enjoyable and meaningful volunteer activities across the city. Together with Burennetwerk, Markant and the Volunteer Center Amsterdam, we organize dozens of small and large projects that make it easy for you to join in.
About the activity
Every Saturday, Buurtbuik takes place at community centre De Klinker, where local heroes prepare a delicious lunch made from rescued food. We’re looking for helping hands to chop, serve, and make sure neighbours can enjoy a wonderful meal together. So come and join us in the kitchen and serve with a smile!
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.
