Here is a video of the event
Corinna, a professional hair designer, volunteered by giving haircuts to the homeless. A small garage was her studio for that day.
“It is true that people come because they need a haircut. But the biggest reason they come is the feeling of being touched again they get when having a chat with the hairdresser,” she continues, “they recall their memories of having warm daily lives before living on the streets by sharing their stories as if it was a normal part in their lives.”
She also mentioned her favorite part of the volunteering job is when her clients check the mirror. By looking at their lovely faces of being happy at their new clean hair, she gets reminded how it is always nice to give hope to others and stay focus on people around who need help.
