Looking for volunteers for your organization?

Do you work at a social or community organization in Amsterdam and could you use extra help with an activity? Through Serve the City, you can reach young volunteers, companies, and fellow Amsterdammers who want to contribute to the city.

We kunnen alleen activiteiten die over minimaal twee weken plaatsvinden in behandeling nemen, omdat we voldoende tijd nodig hebben om vrijwilligers te werven. Is er sprake van spoed? Laat het ons dan weten, dan kijken we of er toch iets mogelijk is.
Van hoe laat tot hoe laat dienen de vrijwilligers aanwezig te zijn?
Waar dienen de vrijwilligers zich te melden?
Wanneer een vrijwilliger zich aanmeldt, ontvangen jullie een kopie van de bevestigingsmail met daarin de naam en het e-mailadres van de vrijwilliger. We raden aan om zelf ook een korte welkomstmail te sturen. Zo voelen vrijwilligers zich meer verbonden met jullie organisatie.
Omdat onze vrijwilligers vaak voor het eerst komen, verwachten wij dat er altijd vanuit jullie een begeleider aanwezig is om ze op weg te helpen, wat drinken aan te bieden en er voor hen te zijn bij vragen. Indien we een groep jongeren inzetten, zullen we zelf voor een extra begeleider zorgen.
