About the activity
You don’t have to be a pastry chef to bake pancakes and make someone happy! During this event you will bake pancakes for homeless people of Inloophuis Makom, filling up stomachs while having fun over a good talk.
This great project is a returning success on our Serve the City editions. This location is kind of a living room in the Zuid neighbourhood and is visited by homeless people to have a little coffee, short talk and be a bit out of the daily hustle. At this location lots of things are happening; a street cleaning team, a bike repair shop and a workshop where candles are made are up and running 365 days a year for homeless people and at these special days you could be the one baking pancakes! 🙂
Do I need to physically be in the Netherlands to be able to join in?
Yes! Only people who are physically present in the Netherlands are able to volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can offer no assistance with obtaining visas to come to the country.
Is this a suitable project for me?
If you are above 18 years old and in the mood for helping then this project is perfect for you!
What language skills are needed?
English/Dutch.
