About the activity

We are looking for volunteers to help a kind elderly lady in the city center of Amsterdam with her move. The special thing about this project is that she is moving to the apartment right next door, just a few meters away!

The main task will be moving heavier items such as a washing machine, small refrigerator, sofa, gas stove, bed, and a dining table with chairs. Everything will already be packed in boxes, so the focus is on lifting and working together.

This is a great opportunity to make a direct impact by helping someone with a practical need in a short but meaningful activity.

Tip: wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty. It’s helpful if someone can bring a hand truck (trolley).

Do I need to live the Netherlands to be able to join?

Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands are able to volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately we can’t help people with a visa.

Is this a suitable project for me?
