About the activity
Hidden behind a beech hedge in the middle of Afrikanerplein lies a green oasis: the Afrikanertuin community garden. A place filled with flowers, herbs, vegetable gardens and peaceful corners in the middle of the buzzing city.
During Garden Day you’ll work together in the garden, enjoy being outdoors and meet neighbours from the area. Whether you have green fingers or simply want to spend a pleasant morning outside: everyone is welcome.
Soup and bread will be served at 12:00.
Please bring gloves, suitable clothing and your own cup, bowl and spoon.
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.
What language skills are needed?
English/Dutch.
