About the activity
Do you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, meeting new people, and care about sustainability? During the SwapShare pop-up on December 13, 2025, you can put your energy to good use at a fun community swap event at the Marineterrein, next to CRCL Park. You’ll help welcome visitors, collect and sort items, and display all the donated treasures in a nice and organized way.
SwapShare is all about swapping, sharing, and reusing – together we make sure good items don’t go unused but find a new home instead. It’s a social, active day where you’re right at the heart of the neighborhood and directly contributing to a more sustainable city. You’ll also receive 5 SwapShare points to pick out something nice for yourself and a tasty sandwich to keep you going.
Do I need to physically be in the Netherlands to be able to join in?
Yes! Only people who are physically present in the Netherlands are able to volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can offer no assistance with obtaining visas to come to the country.
Is this a suitable project for me?
This project is a great match if you enjoy staying active, greeting visitors with a friendly smile, and working together with others. No experience is needed — if you’re enthusiastic and want to do something positive for your community, you’ll feel right at home.
