About the activity
Anyone walking around Amsterdam will unfortunately see it too. Amsterdam can be quite filthy, especially in busy areas. Trash is strewn on many corners, every trash can is overflowing due to a well-intentioned deposit policy that has backfired, underground bins are too small, and more and more bulky waste is being put out far too early. Time to take action together!
On Friday, September 19, 2025, more than 30,000 Amsterdammers will join us to clean up our city. Right in our own streets and neighborhoods, together with friends, neighbors, and colleagues. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.
Is this a suitable project for me?
If you have a passion for contributing to the environment through a greenery volunteer project!
