Do you enjoy good conversations, speak Dutch well and like meeting new people from the neighbourhood?
Join BOOST as a conversation buddy at this vibrant meeting place in the Transvaal neighbourhood, where local residents, entrepreneurs and newcomers come together.
In an informal setting, you’ll help newcomers practise their Dutch. No textbooks, just good conversations over a delicious neighbourhood lunch. You’ll chat in small groups about everyday topics and help participants build confidence in speaking Dutch. No experience is needed—just a little curiosity and an open mind!
BOOST provides the coffee, lunch and welcoming atmosphere; you bring your time and attention. Together, we’ll create an afternoon full of meaningful encounters and new stories.
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.
