About the activity
When it gets dark early outside, fairy lights instantly create a cosy atmosphere. Will you help transform the garden of the Leo Polak residential care home in Amsterdam-Osdorp, near the Sloterplas, into a magical spot? For residents with dementia or a physical disability, a beautifully lit garden is something to look forward to. You hang up the lights; they enjoy the glow.
Note: Suitable for aged 18 and over.
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.
Is this a suitable project for me?
If you enjoy hands-on activities while making a positive impact, this is a great project for you!
