Practical Information
On Saturday November 21 and Sunday November 22, De Hallen Amsterdam will host the free Play, Share, Swap and Recycle Festival, organized by Motherhood Amsterdam. For two days, children and parents will swap toys and clothing, repair broken items, and participate in creative workshops. Through this event, approximately 10,000 toys will find new homes.
As a volunteer, you’ll help ensure everything runs smoothly. For example, you can:
• lead a creative workshop
• help collect clothing and toys
• serve as a host or hostess
• hand out clothing tags
• help set up and clean up afterward
Will you come help out? We’ve divided both festival days into morning and afternoon shifts. Sign up and let’s make it a celebration together!
Do I need to physically be in the Netherlands to be able to join in?
Yes! Only people who are physically present in the Netherlands are able to volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can offer no assistance with obtaining visas to come to the country.
