About the activity
Want to roll up your sleeves and help keep one of Amsterdam’s neighbourhoods clean and beautiful? Join the Oosterparkbuurt Clean-up, organised by Stichting Zacht Beton!
Together with local residents and fellow volunteers, you’ll head out into the neighbourhood to pick up litter from the streets, pavements and green spaces. It’s a simple way to make an immediate difference – and a great opportunity to meet people from the neighbourhood while you’re at it.
And the clean-up doesn’t have to end when the last piece of litter is picked up. Afterwards, there’s time to relax, chat and get to know each other over coffee, tea and Eberhardjes – traditional Amsterdam cookies.
Come along, meet your neighbours and fellow volunteers, and help make the Oosterparkbuurt a little cleaner and friendlier!
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.
Is this a suitable project for me?
If you have a passion for contributing to the environment through a greenery volunteer project, then this is a great way to do that.
What language skills are needed?
No particular languages needed.
