About the event
On World Refugee Day, we celebrate the richness of flavors from around the world together. Here to Support will provide Eritrean coffee and snacks from Nigeria, the Philippines, and Sudan, and you are welcome to bring your own favorite dish too!
Spread out your blanket on the grass, sample a variety of things, and learn the stories behind the food. At 2:00 PM, a Colombian Caribbean folk band will give a live performance that will turn the square into a party. At 4:00 PM, the artwork on the Here to Support rolling yard will be festively unveiled. An afternoon full of flavors, music, and encounters — right in the neighborhood.

Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.
What language skills are needed?
English/Dutch.
