About the activity
At EC-O, an inspiring educational center for newcomers, a tiled area is being transformed into a beautiful Japanese garden and we need your help! This space will become a place for connection, language practice, and community activities.
During this project, you’ll work together with other volunteers on hands-on gardening tasks such as moving tiles, digging, carrying soil and stones, and helping to build parts of the garden. It’s a physical but rewarding activity where you’ll see immediate results! All coordination and plans are provided, we mainly need some ‘do-ers’ to make it happen.
Do I need to physically be in the Netherlands to be able to join in?
Yes! Only people who are physically present in the Netherlands are able to volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can offer no assistance with obtaining visas to come to the country.
Is this a suitable project for me?
If you like gardening and want to contribute to a green environment, YES.
