About the activity
Do you love theater, music, and a touch of craziness? Then we’re looking for you! During the De Parade theater festival in Amsterdam, non-profit organization Musicians Without Borders is running a unique ‘Air Guitar Store’, where visitors can ‘buy’ their favorite air guitar and unleash their Inner Rockstar, complete with a photo moment.
As a member of our Air Guitar Sales Team, you’ll approach guests with energy, invite them to try out a guitar model, and make sure they have an unforgettable experience. A theatrical flair is a plus, feel free to pull out your best glam rock outfit! We’re looking for volunteers with guts, sales talent, and a sense of humor, who also keep in mind the important cause: raising support and donations for Musicians Without Borders’ music projects in war zones.
Practical information
We’re still looking for a few enthusiastic additions to our team. We prefer volunteers who are willing to take on 3 or more shifts. English speakers are also welcome to apply! Please note, you must be 18 years or older.
If you do 3 shifts, you’ll receive a free festival pass for the entire duration of De Parade Amsterdam (24 July to 9 August). This gives you free access to the festival grounds, and lets you attend free shows, subject to availability.

Do I need to physically be in the Netherlands to be able to join in?
Yes! Only people who are physically present in the Netherlands are able to volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can offer no assistance with obtaining visas to come to the country.
