About the activity
Let’s fight the famous depressive Blue Monday Blues with a kitchen party and surprise lonely Amsterdammers with a delicious home-made treat! All together, we will swing the handmixer to bake for elderly, homeless and healthcare staff in Amsterdam.
Important: Please make sure you bake something for 5 persons.
All locations know of the arrival of our volunteers, it may be that just when you are there, there is no one to open the door. If this happens to you, give the location a call and explain that you are coming for the Serve the City. All participating organizations are very happy with the arrival of the volunteers, but it is possible that not all employees know about the project. Then know, you are really at the right location!
At this location you can deliver your bakes at: Monday 19th between 09:00-10:00.
These are difficult times for the employees and residents of the care locations and that is why we are so happy we have so many volunteers helping us with this project. Do you want to give the employees and residents an extra boost? Then write a sweet card for them!
