About the activity
Do you want to help out cleaning up a small piece of our pretty city? Then we need your help!
During the last few years, awareness of sustainability has brought the waste problem to the eyes of the public across the globe. Amsterdam has encouraged individuals to help solve the current plastic problem. This project offers the possibility to become part of this sustainability movement by collecting plastic and at the same moment to become a part of the Makroon community and meet the neighbors there.
During this event, we want to clean up the neighborhood of the Makroon. It’s a great way to start your day and we will be making many people happy. Also, there will be time for a lunch, to meet each other and talk about your experience! During the day we will pick litter and have a nice lunch break all together!

Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.
Is this a suitable project for me?
