About the Kom Buurten action week
From 17th to January 24th, De Banne will be all about Kom Buurten, a week full of enjoyable and meaningful volunteer activities across the neighbourhood. Together with Burennetwerk, Markant and the Volunteer Center Amsterdam, we organize dozens of small and large projects that make it easy for you to join in.
About the activity
A freshly baked pancake makes almost everyone happy, right? That is why we go out with our converted cargo bike, bake pancakes, and share them in the neighbourhood. With our mini community centre, we meet neighbours, start conversations, and make people happy with a chat and a pancake.
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.
What language skills are needed?
English/Dutch.
