About the Kom Buurten action week
From 8 to 15 November, Amsterdam will be all about Kom Buurten, a week full of enjoyable and meaningful volunteer activities across the city. Together with Burennetwerk, Markant and the Volunteer Center Amsterdam, we organize dozens of small and large projects that make it easy for you to join in.
About the activity
Is the litter on the streets bothering you too, and would you like to do something about it? Together with as many neighbours as possible, we’ll head out to clean up your street and your neighbourhood. While picking up litter, you’ll have a nice chat with fellow residents and work together for a cleaner community. After a cosy breakfast where you’ll meet other volunteers, we’ll get started!
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.
