About the Kom Buurten action week
From 8 to 15 November, Amsterdam will be all about Kom Buurten, a week full of enjoyable and meaningful volunteer activities across the city. Together with Burennetwerk, Markant and the Volunteer Center Amsterdam, we organize dozens of small and large projects that make it easy for you to join in.
About the activity
Together with a small group, we’ll head into the neighbourhood to help residents with small tasks — like doing groceries, lifting something heavy, or tidying up a garden. Handy and ready to help? Join us for Chores Day!
The day starts with a cosy, shared breakfast where you’ll meet other volunteers. After that, we’ll get to work together.
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.\
