About the activity
Let’s fight the famous depressive Blue Monday Blues with a kitchen party and surprise lonely Amsterdammers with a delicious home-made treat! All together, we will swing the handmixer to bake for elderly, homeless and healthcare staff in Amsterdam.
It is important to bake goods for 10-15 people, this way there is enough for everyone and know feels left out.
All locations know of the arrival of our volunteers, it may be that just when you are there, there is no one to open the door. If this happens to you, give the location a call and explain that you are coming for the Serve the City. All participating organizations are very happy with the arrival of the volunteers, but it is possible that not all employees know about the project. Then know, you are really at the right location!
At this location you can deliver your baked goods at: Monday 19th between 09:00 and 10:30.
Voor de medewerkers en bewoners van de zorglocaties is de periode na kerst altijd wat zwaar en daarom is dit project éxtra fijn voor deze groep Amsterdammers. Wil je ze een extra hart onder de riem steken? Schrijf dan een lief kaartje voor ze!
