The activity: Helping out at the biological farm
If you want to escape from life in the city for a while and be part of the agricultural process of a farm, then this is the right project for you!
Pluk! Groenten van West is a local farm with a vibrant community of people. At the Boerderij de Boterbloem location, you can see a variety of organic crops all grow there to be harvested by people who value local, healthy food.
Your contribution will be very appreciated in chores like planting, seeding, and harvesting among other farming duties.
So roll up your sleeves and be a farmer for a while!
*Please wear some clothes and shoes that can get dirty
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands can volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately, we can’t help people with a visa.
Is this a suitable project for me?
If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty and like the practical chores!
What language skills are needed?
No specific language is required.
