Do you like animals, gardening, DIY and just roll up your sleeves?
At Kinderboerderij de Uylenburg in the Rembrandtpark, they regularly need extra volunteers for jobs such as greenery maintenance, maintaining and cleaning the animal houses.
For this Saturday they need help mainly with sanding and painting rabbit’s cages and weeding some plants which are poisonous to horses.
During the day there is also plenty of time to cuddle with the animals. They have goats, sheep, a pony, a donkey, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, cats and parakeets. You will have a chance to feed the animals (vegetables/fruit).
Take comfortable clothes and shoes that can get dirty.
