HVO Querido Westlander is a crisis shelter for 25 homeless families. The families get a room with their own shower, toilet and kitchenette.
Families staying at Westlander have to deal with various problems that they are going to work on together with social assistants. The aim is to increase self-reliance so that the families can leave as quickly as possible.
With a joint effort, the people with whom we work can give shape and substance to their lives again and actively participate in our society.
On Saturday 5 September we want to organise a fun activity for these children, outside, in their outdoor space. As a volunteer, you will help to prepare the games and play with the kids so you will have a fantastic afternoon together!
Children are dutch speakers, so a basic knowledge of the language may facilitate the communication.
