About the activity
You will spend a day working in a shop where people do not buy groceries, but groceries are donated. Your job: when groceries are donated is to receive them and when customers arrive, you will show them the way. All with a big smile on your face, of course!
The customers who come here are living on a small budget and in this shop they can pick a few items every week. TKRAMREPUS is a reversed supermarket where you do something good for someone else and help in the fight against poverty and food waste.
If there are no customers or is not much to do, you can also study or work on your laptop. A win-win we would say. Lunch is not provided, so you have to bring it yourself.Â
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands are able to volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately we can’t help people with a visa.
Is this a suitable project for me?
Since it is a full day of volunteering, please remember to bring something to eat for lunch.
What language skills are needed?
No specific language is required.
