Almost every day, the Koffiets (a delivery bike with coffee) goes out to hand out coffee to homeless people who are in the Vondelpark & at other permanent places. The goal is to make contact, give them a nice cup of coffee and show that they also matter.
The volunteers of the Koffiets visit about 30 homeless people at a time. We want to do something extra for these homeless people this week. A tasty cake, fried chicken legs or anything else that you think will make homeless people happy.
What’s the idea:
– you indicate below what you are going to make, and whether you are going to do it for 10, 20 or 30 people.
– you pack the items individually so that it can be easily distributed by the volunteers of the Koffiets
– you bring your delicacy on the day itself between 10:30-11: 00 at the Diaconie, Nieuwe Herengracht 18, there you will find cellars, the first cellar, from the Amstel (large green door) is where you need to be!
