Letting children in the North grow up in promising and pleasant neighbourhoods is their motivation. On playgrounds spread all over Amsterdam Noord, Stichting SPIN offer children safe, adventurous and as green play areas as possible. Children are given space here. A positive approach to every child is central to our pedagogical vision. SPIN pays extra attention to children (and their parents) who have less obvious opportunities, such as children with a disability or children who have to grow up in poverty.
If you like practical activities and make things done, this is a nice project for you! The playground is highly dependent on the help of volunteers. A lot of work is being done by volunteers from the neighbourhood, but there is a lot of work that still remains.
Practical chores would be:
– trimming shrubs
– gardening
– painting the playground
– and other maintenance activities
They are very happy to have your help to get these jobs done.
We will take Corona Measurements in consideration while working on this project.
