About the activity
Zonnehuis Bovenkerk is a living community for elderly with dementia, in Amstelveen.
They are looking for volunteers who can make a nice lunch for the elderly living there.
When you arrive, the contactperson from the location will show you around. After this, you can create a nice soup. There will be a recipe for you to follow. You also set the tables (with the elderly) and clean everything after the lunch.
Do I need to live in the Netherlands to be able to join?
Yes! Only people who live in the Netherlands are able to volunteer with us and can sign up. Unfortunately we can’t help people with a visa.
Is this a suitable project for me?
If you like preparing food and are good with people who have dementia, this is the project for you!
