We just love to serve. And so many people need help. So we are busy preparing an extra Serve the City mini edition and we need your help to 'Serve Smiles' while serving the city of Amsterdam. Please mark your agenda for the 31st of March.
Currently we are looking for project coordinators for our next edition. Being a project coordinator simply means informing the volunteers of the project specifics (time, location, details), in some cases buying some goods for your project to be successful (you are reimbursed, of course), and finally leading the team on that day, acting as the main contact person. A Serve the City core team member will be working with you for your project to be a success!!We have three types of projects during our Serve the City events. The first are social projects like bingo with elderly people, a nice day with the mentally disabled, and making pancakes for the homeless.
We also do practical projects like painting, cleaning etc. And third, we have street projects to suprise people passing by doing things like serving tea to taxi drivers, handing out roses, etc.
